ELEM Constructions Ltd is a London-based building company carrying out renovations, extensions, loft conversions and refurbishments for homeowners across Morden and the surrounding areas.

We started the company on a simple idea: bring together every trade a renovation needs – bricklaying, plumbing, tiling, electrics and general building – under one accountable team, so clients deal with one point of contact from the first site visit to the final handover.

The Person Behind ELEM Constructions

Meet The Founder

Hands-On Experience, Backed By Formal Training

Ionut Huzum founded ELEM Constructions Ltd after more than 20 years working in the construction industry – starting out on site and working his way up through bricklaying, renovations and project management on homes across London.

Alongside that hands-on experience, Ionut is currently completing his studies in Construction Management at Bath Spa University, due to finish shortly. It’s a combination he believes matters: real years on site, paired with up-to-date industry knowledge, current regulations and modern project management practice.

He set up ELEM Constructions Ltd with one goal – to give homeowners a building company they can trust from the first site visit through to the final handover, with honest pricing, clear communication, and work he’s happy to put his name to.

He’s based on site as often as he is behind a desk – if you spot him at a project near you, that’s exactly where he likes to be.
